We are the data controller for the information described here. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

How to contact us

If you have any questions about this policy or your personal information, email us at beatrix@lovespells.org.uk.

The information we collect

Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you choose to tell us in your message.

Technical information. Like almost every website, our web server automatically records basic technical details when pages are requested: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and the website that referred you. These server logs are kept by our hosting provider for security and to keep the Website running properly.

Visit statistics. We count visits with GoatCounter, which we run on our own server. It does not use cookies and does not keep your IP address. It records the page visited, the referring site, and your browser, operating system, screen size, language and country, stored only as totals. You can switch it off in Cookie Settings.

Cookies. We use a small cookie to remember your cookie choices. With your permission only, we may also use advertising cookies in future. Our Cookie Policy explains these in full.

We do not ask for, and do not want to receive, special category information (for example about your health) unless you choose to share it with us in an email.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
